Why not just use Google Calendar?
Google Calendar can show events, but it does not watch the 10-hour daily or 45-hour weekly limits, track full weekends, or separate host controls from au pair requests. Au Pair Schedule also sends a day-specific notification when a host saves a change, so the update does not disappear in a group chat.
What if my au pair doesn't have an iPhone?
Both host families and au pairs can use the full web app from a phone, tablet, or computer. The native app is currently available for iPhone and adds the most direct mobile notification experience; there is not an Android app today.
Is this compliant with J-1 program rules?
Au Pair Schedule makes the 10-hour daily cap, 45-hour weekly cap, off-duty time, vacation, and full weekends easier to see while you plan. It is an organizational tool, not legal advice, and it does not set stipend terms or replace guidance from your sponsor agency or the U.S. Department of State.
What happens after the 7-day free trial?
When a host family chooses monthly or annual membership, a payment method is collected and the 7-day trial begins. Billing starts automatically after the trial unless you cancel through Stripe for a web purchase or through Apple for an App Store purchase; invited au pairs are included at no extra charge.
