What we collect
Au Pair Schedule stores the information needed to provide a shared family schedule. This can include your name, email address, account role, household membership, shifts, chores, notes, time-off or schedule requests, and notification preferences. When you enable push notifications, we also store the device token Apple provides so schedule alerts can reach your iPhone.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, show the correct host-family or au-pair experience, keep a household's calendar synchronized, process schedule requests, deliver notifications, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. We do not sell personal information or use app data to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Sign-in providers and service partners
Sign-in is handled through Apple, Google, or Microsoft. Those providers process sign-in information under their own policies. We use service providers for hosting, email delivery, payments on the website, and Apple push notifications. They receive only the information needed to perform those services for us.
Sharing within a household
Schedule information is shared with the host-family and au-pair accounts connected to the same household. Hosts can create and update schedules and review requests. Au pairs can view their household schedule and submit requests.
Retention and security
We retain account and scheduling information while the account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect stored information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can turn push notifications off in iPhone Settings. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information, email support@aupairschedule.com from the address associated with your account. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and dispute-resolution needs.
Children
Au Pair Schedule is intended for adults participating in a host-family arrangement and is not directed to children under 13. Do not enter sensitive information about children into free-form schedule notes.
